Journal of Brodie's 1824 voyage from Scotland to Mexico via the West Indies, aboard the brig Jane; fragmentary note on an 1828 trip from Guadalajara to Colima, Mexico; and opening portion of his account concerning a trip from Guadalajara, to San Blas and beyond, covering departmure from Guadalajara on May 10, 1832, and arrival in Tepic on May 12.
